While Lightroom and Photoshop, along with their professional rivals like Capture One and On1, rule the roost, there’s a case to be made for seriously considering a variety of the free picture editing options. None are good, but then neither are Lightroom or Photoshop or the opposite commercial products. If you’re deep into the Apple or Google worlds, you might get so much carried out with their Photos apps.
